Kara, a mute girl with aspirations of becoming a comedian like her idol Bruno, gets a job at the club “Bloody Joke!” run by mafia.
When a mysterious book of jokes disappears, Kara must overcome her handicap, come up with her own humor and confront a dangerous mafia boss to save the club and her life.
Patrik Polák is currently studying film directing and screenwriting at the Studio of Audiovisual Arts at the FMC TBU in Zlín, Czech Republic.
Bloody Joke! is his bachelor’s thesis film.
